SINOPSIS
Interaction in the classroom is seen as an essential part of teaching learning process. The interaction should be built well for both students and teacher so they can be engaged to the learning materials well. However, teachers often monopolize the classroom learning since the teachers do not know how to involve the students in the discussion. This situation could result passive interaction during the teaching and learning process in the classroom because they do not feel comfortable with the way the teachers teach. In line with the students’ perspective of learning, somehow the teachers might feel confused how to teach the students with appropriate materials, method, media, and many aspects of teaching. Therefore, the interaction should be built well for both students and teacher so they can be engaged to the learning materials well.
This book will identify the classroom interaction pattern on the teaching and learning process in English classroom, as well as the perceptions of teachers and the students toward the interaction. This is done to carry out dialogic learning.
This book can be used as by teachers especially English teachers, students, and the people in a society who interest with classroom interactions in English classes.
